Which spelling do you prefer of the name McKensie or McKenzie?

Is this name over used? I have heard from a few that it is, but I have only known one McKenzie and I am an elem. teacher.

Yes, the name is very overused, but if you still have your heart set on it, the regular spelling of "McKenzie" is preferable.





EDIT: If you look at the stats for the year 2006, and add up all the different spellings of the name (MacKenzie, Makenzie, McKenzie, etc.), the overall popularity of the name is closer to being in the Top 20. And that doesn't include all the variations of the very similar "Makayla," "Mikayla," etc.

Reply:I would prefere the name Mckenzie b/c it's just unique to me and i have a cousin and a niece that has the same name spelled like that, and i think that it is really cute. The name also makes me think of MC Hammer honestly LOL.
