My lifeguard certification has a spelling error on my name?

It's from the American Red Cross and they mispelt my last name. I was wondering who should I contact to fix this? The Red Cross or my instructor/the center where I was trained? Thanks in advance

I would contact the instructor since they gave the files to the red cross. I am sure they would then take it up with the red cross and you would get a new card soon.
Reply:It's not a big problem right now put if you get more certifications (like your LGI or WSI) it will be. Contacting your instructors will do you no good as all the instuctor does is fill out the course record sheet to send to the red cross. All you need to do is call the red cross who issued you the certifications and let them know of the error, they should take your information and send you a new set of certifications with the proper spelling of you name.
Reply:It shouldn't be a problem if you explain it to your employer(s). If it bothers you, talk to your instructor. The same thing happened to me, and the instructor misspelled my first name and it didn't cause any problems where I worked.
