Do you think Caden is too much of a boys name to name a girl? Should I change the spelling?

I just found that Caden was in the top ten of boys names and I was planning on naming my baby Caden Elizabeth...should I change the spelling or do you think its fine..

Do you think Caden is too much of a boys name to name a girl? Should I change the spelling?
I dont think so, it is a little boyish though. you could spell it Kaiden/Kayden

I also like the name Camden/Kamdyn? its a girls and boys name
Reply:It is beautiful...I love the way it sounds together...I think you could spell it either way but with a K may look a little girlier on paper. However Caden is in my baby name book under girls names and it means A battlewomen they have other spellings as Cadan, Cadin and Cadon....I could not find a meaning for Kaydan the closest was Kay which means THe keeper of the keys....other suggestions for Kay were Kaye, Kae,Kai,Kaie,Kaya,Kayana,Kayane,Kayanna,... Best of luck and good luck with your baby girl...Its the best thing ever!!!

P.s Caden under boys name means Spirit of Battle.
Reply:Love it! I agree spelling it Kayden makes it look more girly. Giving her a sweet middle name, like Rose or Lily may girly it up some, too. Still, Kayden Elizabeth is nice...
Reply:I love that name for a boy or a girl, but i would change the spelling to something like Kayden, so it looks more girlie. For a middle name i like Elizabeth..it's a nice combonation
Reply:You could change it to Kayden and then she could be called Kay for short. These days though, it really doesn't matter. Go with what you really want.

Congratulations to you!!!
Reply:caden is a terrible terrible boys name. Truly awful. Much better as a girls name.
Reply:That is so pretty. no please keep it. it is so unique and different. your daughter will love it (when she is older). it is awesome. please name her that.!!!
Reply:No, I think Caden Elizabeth is beautiful! If you want to change the spelling, you could try Kayden or Kaden. Those are also nice.
Reply:I do think it's more appropriate for a boy, but you could possibly spell it Kayden and it would like slightly more feminine.
Reply:i think it's a lovely name, i defo like it as both boys and girls.

i prefer is

Kayden for a girl though :)

Reply:I think Caden works for a girl, but I think it looks more feminine spelled Kayden or Caidyn...then she could go by Kay or Caidy if she'd like...

Congrats and Best Wishes!!
Reply:Cayden, Kaydin, Kayden or maybe Cadence, would be okay.
Reply:I like Caden for a name, you could use the K as someone else said or you could always call her Cadence/Kadence/Kaydence.
Reply:I don't think changing the spelling is giong to change the fact that it sounds like a boys name...
Reply:How about Katelyn.

Don't name your little girl a boys name.
Reply:i like the name maybe spell it Kaden with a k or kayden that looks girly with a y but i love the name for a girl
Reply:Caden is a pretty name. That's my nephew's name, but he spells is Kadin.
Reply:Caden is a boy's name whether you like it or not. I hate it!
Reply:Caden is a name? What's the origin?
Reply:It's not a boy or a girl name. It's a made up name that can go either way.
Reply:Kayden very cute!!
Reply:Yes it's too much of a boy's name no matter what way you spelly it.

Katelynn sounds similar and is very girly or Katie
Reply:Aw, I love it! Maybe adding a y in the spelling would make it more girly. like Kayden, Kadyn or Kaedyn
Reply:Spell it Kaiden or Kaydin

Make it girlie

God bless :]
