Looking for Peter Stewart not sure of last name spelling, Could be Stuart or Steward?
Try these:

www.zabasearch.com

www.anywho.com

www.411.com

www.google.com

www.yahoo.com (use advanced search)

Try all combinations and be sure to include Yazoo city in your search because the name is very common. You might also write the Chamber of Commerce in Yazoo City asking for any local geneaology club that could help you. Also, while you are in Zabasearch, try looking for phone numbers. It's too bad you aren't sure of the correct spelling because that is going to make the job lots harder. You also should try any free geneology site that will let you list who you are looking for. Good luck.

I like the name Hailey too. I think Hailey is the prettiest spelling and it will grow with her. My least favorite spelling from your list is Haleigh. I personally don't think it looks right. I don't care for Hailie either. Something about it just doesn't look right to me. Hailee is ok though.

Middle names:

I personally don't care for Marie or Elizabeth. They are just way too common imo. Unless the names are special to you in some way (example: Elizabeth is your mom's name or Marie is your grandmother's name) I wouldn't use them.

Hailey Riley doesn't flow well. Both names end in the "lee" sound.

Hailey Paige is alright I guess, but I think a different middle name would complement Hailey better.

Che Guevara had a french associate named Dubrae (spelling?) while in Bolivia. What was his exact name?

What ever happened to this frenchman after his conviction in Bolivia?

Che Guevara had a french associate named Dubrae (spelling?) while in Bolivia. What was his exact name?
His exact name is Jules Regis Debray.

After his conviction in Bolivia in 1967 he served a little time in Bolivia. Although sentenced to 30 years, he was released after 3 years, due to an international campaign (which included De Gaulle and Pope Paul VI no less!). He then went to Chile, until Pinochet's coup in 1973, whereupon he returned to France.

Today he is still alive and well in France and writing.

How long will it take for computers to stop citing Barak Obama's name as a spelling error?

For a word processor, it won't be fixed until another release (word processors scan from a dictionary file, so it would need to be added) - but you can always right click and say "add to dictionary"

Other than that, online sites should be much quicker to incorporate Obama's name into their spell check systems.

How long will it take for computers to stop citing Barak Obama's name as a spelling error?
It will continue likely since even though is a president his name is not a correct word with a definition. Names of people even famous people are often not put into spell checkers.
Reply:Just Add to Dictionary.
Reply:His name is spelled Barack Obama
Reply:Um... You misspelled his name... His first name has a "c" in it... Barack.
Reply:Type his name. Right click on the red underlined works, click LEARN.
Reply:When your Mama learns to spell Osama! Then Obama will no longer be .. darn, I ran out of rhymes.

What is a different baby name with easy spelling?

For a boy or girl, what are some names that are beautiful, and not very common, but the spelling is easy or self explanatory? (I don't like to have to spell out my long name every time I put in a reservation or order)

What is a different baby name with easy spelling?
Hmmm... this is tricky. Some of the uncommon names I love have simple spellings once you know how to spell them (like Carys or Isannah) but you'd still have to spell them out the first time. Perhaps nature names might be a good option, since people are familiar with them as words but they're not very common names. Or older names that aren't used as often anymore. Some of these names I've listed assume that the order/reservation is being taken by a well-educated person (who would know how to spell a name if you said, "Orion, like the constellation"). Of course, that isn't always the case -- my name is Emily, and I'm occasionally asked to spell it. I've even had someone start writing my name beginning with the letter M and then get very confused when she couldn't figure out what vowel would come after M. (In her defense, I think she was very tired and had been working a long shift.)

How important is it to change the spelling of her name?

My sister is a kind soul who is taking care of her sister-in-law's kids. She has basically adopted them. Trouble is, the kids' mom was kinda, well, trashy. One of the kids is a little girl who's name is spelled "Khloey". (Chloe is the way the name is traditionally spelled.)

On a scale of 1-10, how important do you think it is for my sister to try to change the spelling of the little girl's name?

How important is it to change the spelling of her name?
I personally don't like the spelling because I think it looks illiterate rather than unique, but I agree that it is up to the child whether she wants her name changed or not. If it were an offensive name it would be different, but it's really just a matter of preference in this case.
Reply:It is actually important if the girl wants her name to be spelled differently...otherwise, what is in a name?

Anyway, it is a cute name and what is more important is how the kid turns out to be rather than her name..God Bless...
Reply:I say 1. It's not important unless it was a name not fitting for any human being like Lemonjello, pronounced le-mawn-gelo (yes, I have heard this name before).
Reply:Well, how does the kid feel about the spelling of her name? I think it's cool to have an oddly spelled name these days as long as it can still be prounced correctly when someone reads it.
Reply:It is only important if she is trying to change it because the little girl wants it changed.
Reply:it doesn't matter name spelled different are unique.. and in other words unique isn't always a bad thing
Reply:It is up to the little girl if she would like it changed.
Reply:4 it's not really that important..unless the girl wants to change her name

What is the craziest name and/or spelling of a name you have ever seen?

you know, stuff like "Izabelah" and "Majestee"

Oh and I wanted an opinion on my son's name as well, I know the spelling of a name can make or break it and I was wondering if anybody thought the way I spelt my son's name was over the top? or ridiculous. His name is Isaak Landen.

What is the craziest name and/or spelling of a name you have ever seen?
My mom works in the Newborn Nursery at the hospital and has seen some really ridiculous names. I think the worse that i can think of would be a couple who named their twins (girl/boy) Mickey and Minnie!! I like Issac better, but it's definitely NOT way over the top! :)
Reply:My son's name is Chrystian....Christian but with a y. I get 1 of 2 reactions...."That is so cool!" or "How do you pronounce that?" lol....I don't think it's THAT different. Someone once called him "Kristen", it kinda upset me that people are so close-minded sometimes. Anyways, I like Isaak. I went to school with an Isaac so it's not that different.

I think some people get so involved in choosing a name no one else has they forget how bad it will be for the child. Imagine having birthday cards and all of them spell it different, etc. I am trying to choose a name for my daughter and it's not easy lol.
Reply:I know a labor and delivery nurse and she had a patient that named her daughter Clitoris. Can you imagine! All the nurses explained what it meant and even showed her medical books to visualy explain it was part of a womans anatomy and she still named her baby that. She said it was the most beautiful name she had ever heard.

I think the spelling is fine. My family had a cow because I named my daughter Karli (car-lee) They said no one would be able to pronounce it. No one has ever said it wrong and with all the crazy spellings these days they ask you how you spell your name anyway. My name is Kelly and People usualy spell it with an "i" or "ie"

I was working in a call center that did collect calls and one thing we did at that time is we'd ask for the name. Well, I asked this one woman on the line for her name so I could tell the other party, and she tells me, (and I'm spelling phonetically here) "Shihtheed". So I'm like, "Could you spell that for me, please?" So, she gets irritated with me and says, "Ess-aych-eye, hyphen, tee-acych-ee-ay-dee."

So I type it. "Shi-thead".

Take out the hyphen, and that was the woman's name. I am NOT, repeat not, kidding about this. I so desperately wish I was.

That's cute Very Original. I think that an Original name for a baby kinda gives them their own personality!

When a company is incorporated in one state, can a company in another state have the same name and spelling?

I know there can only be one company, but is it on a state or national level? ie. i work for tom jones inc. in georgia, but there's also a tom jones inc. in north carolina. the only difference is the city, state, and federal id number. it's getting confusing and we're starting to be confused with the other company. from what i've heard they recently changed their name to the same one i have, and i've been in business 4 years.

When a company is incorporated in one state, can a company in another state have the same name and spelling?
Yes. You can have the same corporation name as another company in another state. But if the name is trademarked, then you can be sued by that other company.

From the article "Incorporating With Same Company Name in Another State" http://www.powerhomebiz.com/guide/cases/... , "In order to form a corporation, most states only require that the corporation's name be distinguishable (ie. different) from the names of other corporations and/or other business entities that are registered in the state of incorporation.

Once you have incorporated in your state, no other corporation could be formed in your state with the same name for as long as your corporation is in existence. However, this would not preclude someone from incorporating a business with the same name in another state. It can and certainly does happen, and I have personally come across many corporations (and limited liability companies) with identical names in various states in my work as an incorporation specialist.

However, in instances where a name is trademarked it would not be entirely unheard of for a company to receive a notice to cease and desist from infringing on a trademark and, in effect, requiring the company to change its name. "
Reply:Company incorporations are purely on a state by state basis.

So you can be named the same company name, so long as there is no trademark on the company's name.

However, if you sell something with the same name as another product from another company you can face legal action.
Reply:Did they legally change the name of the business or did they just change the public name? My wife was looking at registering her business and there was a national number she had to call to make sure the name was actually available.

The problem of course is there is nothing stopping people from naming their business Tom A Jones, inc and putting up the sign that says Tom Jones, inc or TJ, inc or whatever.

One is a legal name, the other is a SM or TM. Now if you have a TM or SM on Tom Jones (I'd think the singer Tom Jones probably already has that though) maybe you've got some recourse
Reply:dpends if they have a patent

How do you change the legal spelling of your name in Oklahoma?
You have to go to court, get a change of name. It is pretty easy and doesn't cost much.

What would be the correct spelling of the name that sounds like rainy?

Rainie, Rayne, Ranee, Raney, Rainey, Rainy or some other way. Or if there is no correct spelling, which spelling do you like the most?

What would be the correct spelling of the name that sounds like rainy?
Rainey is a fairly new name, so there is no "correct" spelling. But some of your options are likely to be mispronounced because of the spelling.

Rayne = "rain"

Ranee = "RAN-nee" or "rah-NAY"

Rainey, Raney, Rainie = "rainy"

I think Rainey is the prettiest spelling.
Reply:Any way you like! :) I wouldnt spell it Rainy just because its like the weather :) Or Rayne because if i was to read it like say her teachers in school would or when shes older then it might be mistaken for being Rain instead of Rainy. I would definaitly spell it pronounced like Rain as Rayne :)

Good luck huni :)

xx
Reply:I don't think it is a real name, I think your thinking of Ruh-Nay and had someone mispronounce it for you, but maybe you are thinking of rainy.. I don't really like it but I would spell it Raynie (:

it kind of grows on you though.. (:

i'm starting to like it!*
Reply:There's no "correct" pronunciation of any name, but I think the most common is Raney. There was a relatively successful book named after a character with that name and spelling.
Reply:I would spell it Rainey. I know someone with that name, except its spelt Rahne, and everyone always messes up the pronunciation.

Whatever you do, just don't spell it like that :P
Reply:I would spell it Reiny or Rainey, I like Reynie idk the correct way...

I would avoid Rainie, for double 'i'

Rayne sounds like Rain

Ranee - Rahnee

Raney- Rah-nai

Well thats what I think anyways.
Reply:I like Rainey. I don't think there's a 'correct' spelling since it's more of a modern name.
Reply:I like the spelling Rayne better but I would pronounce it as Rain instead of Rainy
Reply:I like the spelling Rainey
Reply:I love Rainey.
Reply:do you mean renee? (ri-nay)

lol idk,but it could be spelled renee, rene, renae etc.
Reply:I like Rayne........=]
Reply:I would say Rayne as I think it comes from the male name Ray Ramie comes from Raymond
Reply:I like Rainee
Reply:I would spell it Rainee.

How many points do you get in the psat for spelling your name right?

If you get 300 points on the sat for spelling your name right, how many do you get for spelling your name right on the psat?

How many points do you get in the psat for spelling your name right?
Each section on the SAT is on a 200-800 scale, with three sections (critical reading, math, writing), so on it you get 600 points for (more or less) spelling your name right.

The sections on the PSAT are on a 20-80 scale, with three sections, so total there's a 60 point baseline (the points for singing your name).

Which middle name spelling for Emily would look best?

I'm pregnant and if the baby's a girl we're going to call her Emily Mae/May

Emily Mae or Emily May?

Which middle name spelling for Emily would look best?
Emily Mae definitely, it looks better that way. The other doesn't really look like a name, it just reminds me of the month.
Reply:Emily Mae looks cool.
Reply:Emily Mae
Reply:i would go with emily may it looks more grownup then the other ones
Reply:Emily Mae. That's my little sister's name.

Good luck and congrats!
Reply:I like Mae. It is old fashioned like the name Emily and the last letter of Mae is the same as the first letter of Emily. I like the way it looks. But it sounds great. Good choice.
Reply:My daughter's first name is long - so I went with Rae instead of Rachel for her middle name, so I am kind of partial to Mae.
Reply:Definitely Emily Mae

Reply:I think Emily May looks cuter because of the double Y's. My name is Samantha May and I'm glad it's spelt May instead of Mae.
Reply:Emily Mae, definately. Having double y's will be cute while she's a baby, but when she gets older and actually has to put her middle name down, the e will look a lot less childish. Either way, though, it's a really pretty name!
Reply:I prefer Emily May, like the month. Very pretty. Congratulations!
Reply:I like Emily May better
Reply:My name is Wendy May and I like the spelling.
Reply:I like Emily Mae as well. It seems more traditional. Congrats on your little girl. My third little boy is due July 3 and his name is Keenen Marc.

Reply:emily mae. it just fits. but...what are your choices for a boy? anyway, it doesnt matter. best wishes.
Reply:Emily Mae, I love that!

Congrats on your baby girl [:
Reply:Emily May the best...people will spell the other Mae wrong a lot and you will have to correct them. But they are both pretty.
Reply:I like May, with Mae, its seems odd, when theres an "e" in the beginning and the end

How do you make a dotted alphabet stencil for a child to practice spelling his name.?

What I am trying to do is make a worksheet for my son. He has begun school and is now learning to spell his name. I would like to have a worksheet already made for him to practice on rather than me having to make one by hand everyday.

How would you spell the name pronounced Sara-fee-nuh? What is the traditional spelling?

What are some other ways to spell it? Do you like it? What would you rate it on a scale of 1-10 (1=hate,10=love)?

Thanks! :o)

How would you spell the name pronounced Sara-fee-nuh? What is the traditional spelling?
My great grandmother was italian and spelled hers Serafina, I love this name and if I had another girl I would name her Serafina. I would give it a 10.
Reply:It is actually spelled Serafina. But there are variant names: Sarafina, Serafine, Seraphe, Seraphina, Seraphine, Serofina and Serophine

http://www.thinkbabynames.com/meaning/0/...

I think it's a five. It seems a little long and abstract in it's whole form. And the nn Sara is nice but a little boring.
Reply:i've seen the name in a book, spelt Serafina, but i have a penpal who spells it Sierafinah. i love the name its not very common so i would rate it a 9.
Reply:the traditional spelling is Sariphena but on a scale of 1-10 i would say 6 or 7
Reply:I would spell it Seraphina or Serafina. I'm not sure of the traditional spelling.
Reply:Saraphina, and i would rate it an 8.

It's unique and quite lovely.
Reply:it is spelt either sarifina, i is know from the african movie which i thought was awesome with whoopi goldberg
Reply:I would spell it Serrafina
Reply:I'd give it like a 4. I think it sounds like a name you'd hear on a psychic.

Madame Serafina.
Reply:Serafina
Reply:Are you talking about the French name S茅raphine?

Oh gosh, that's too antic for me.

Why do bakeries seem to have a hard time spelling my name right on birthday cakes?

Whenever my mother has a birthday cake made for me professionally, no bakery ever spells my name correctly. My mother will stand there and write it out for them, along with instructions and they still get it wrong. Every time.

I was named for both of my grandmothers. (I never give my real name on a public forum--so I'm going to use MaryJane as a generic example.) To give equal recognition to both, my name is not hyphenated (Mary-Jane), there is no space between the two base names (Mary Jane) and the second base name is not lower-case (Maryjane). It's MaryJane.

Although I don't prefer to use my real name in social settings, I still treasure it because I love my grandmothers. It is stressful to pay full price for a professionally done cake only to have to stand there in the bakery and tell them to redo the name after they have been explicitly told how to do it in the first place. Is there any way this can be avoided in the future?

Why do bakeries seem to have a hard time spelling my name right on birthday cakes?
My sister, I feel your pain. I have had my name spelled incorrectly all my life. Even on government forms and identification. That is REALLY a pain since you have to go back and wait in line etc... I have given the correct spelling on the forms but do they pay attention.

I am happy to hear of the pride you have in your name. A name such as yours is a beautiful gift. A legacy. I think it is wonderful how you use this name and realize the significance of tradition.

I am guessing you had a birthday or some other special event recently so I send you well wishes for whatever the occasion. Just remember that even when they spell it wrong, you still know how special it is. And your right. They should learn how to spell and do their jobs right!

Blessings.
Reply:bakers dont have to go to spelling school. duh
Reply:I know how you feel. My name has five letters in it, isn't at all complicated and people ALWAYS spell it wrong. They use AY or AI instead of EI, or add an E to the last letter, or use EE instead of I as the last letter.

I would suggest you get some icing or whatever they call that stuff to personalize cakes, and write your own name. Less stressful that way. Just instruct the bakers to leave enough room for you to write in your name.
Reply:My suggestion would be to is type out or write on a letter the exsact spelling how you want it to go on the cake and getting them to put it with the details of the ordering and also get them right there and then to staple your request that you have put on the paper, and exslapin as you have had mistakes before and you do no want this happening again ;o) hope it works iam sure it will .
Reply:I think the reason for why they spelled your name wrong is because they see you name and even though they see the instruction that it is one word they let thier hands work faster than there brains so they wright it as two words.
Reply:You usually have to fill out paperwork to get a personalized cake, so write out exactly how you want your name on the cake (upper and lower case) and have them note on the paperwork that that is EXACTLY how they are to put it on the cake. Let the owner/manager know. No one with any pride in their work will want to lose future business.
Reply:welll i can give only two options

1)You usually have to fill out paperwork to get a personalized cake, so write out exactly how you want your name on the cake (upper and lower case) and have them note on the paperwork that that is EXACTLY how they are to put it on the cake. Let the owner/manager know. No one with any pride in their work will want to lose future business.

How should I really be spelling my name?

When I was born my mother wanted my name to be spelled "Ericka". My birth certificate is spelled "Erica" and my social is spelled "Ericka". Which one is more valid to use? I always have spelled/signed my name with a "ck". It's just a pain to see some of my bills spelled two different ways.

How should I really be spelling my name?
You probably need to get it changes legally on your birth cert. Could be a pain in the butt later. I know it is small but I had to present my birth cert when I applied for my social security benefits. just get it cleared up. your real name is Erica
Reply:Ericka. :]] pretty.

Creative ways to get my daughter to practice spelling her name?

I just want to work with her on writing her name and being able to write out her letters. Want to make a game out of it. Not trying to push her, just want her to be kinda ready for school. She just turned 4 last month.

Creative ways to get my daughter to practice spelling her name?
I used to teach kids to write their names all the time at daycare. First, I always wrote their name in bubble letters then had then glue on beans, beads, or something that gave the letters texture. (Be sure to watch close so beans don't end up in her nose) Then, after it dried, I would have them feel the letters and trace the letters while saying the letter. Then, I would write their names real lightly and tell them I am just having a hard time getting the letters dark enough and have them trace it. Then, I would write their name with dots and they had to trace it. Finally, they could write their names. Of course, this was not in the same day or even week, but it is a good start. Also, you should work on cutting skills, you would not believe the Kindergarteners who cannot use scissors... or glue for that matter!!
Reply:Buy brand new crayons and paper. And then you write a letter and she writes a letter, and then have her write something and you try to write it too. Good luck!
Reply:An activity I use to get kids to "write" their name is (are you ready for this) Shaving cream or the spray whipped cream. If you spray it onto a cookie sheet (or the table) the cookie sheet makes for less clean up. Then show her how to use her finger(s) to write out her name. (if you use the whipped cream then she can even eat some of it.) I have found over the years that kids are more likely to do something if it is fun.
Reply:My son eats up anything that has a song to it. My wife sings the spelling of his name and he repeats it. As for actually writing it, try writing it and having her trace it. Or spell it out on a magnetic marker board and have her copy it. Just ideas. Not sure if it'll work. The more they see it, the better chance they'll have to mimic it. I believe it is all about repitition.
Reply:make a song out of the letters of her name and sing it over and over and over. Use a tune she already knows (like Mary had a little lamb).
Reply:I sing a song with my son like Bingo but I spell his name instead. We also practice every time we color. We sign our art. ;)
Reply:can she do connect the dots?? maybe dot out her names a couple of times to get her started then try to see if she can do it on her own after that!! give her a box of new crayons as a treat too
Reply:well i know for spelling me and my cousin have our daughters singing their names... maybe you could have her color a pic and sign he rname to it to put on the fridge
Reply:Write it in the air

You 'd better check the website listed below. It shows some funny ways.

Firstly, you got to evoke the interest of your daughter. Do some funny things using the letters in her name. You can draw faces only using letters and ask your kid to guess what it looks like. Tell her you are drawing her face using her name letters. Spell the letters to her several times. Write her name in formal order and spell it again.

You can ask her to imagine what each letter looks like. For example, draw a huge M on a piece of paper and ask if it is like huge mountain. Let her to spell and draw as you do. Tell her she owns the letter.

You can open a kids book and point out where her letters are. Show and pronounce letters for her wherever you go to Meijer for shopping or go eat at Mcdonald.

She will remember those letters quickly and learn to draw her letters.

mapaguides=googlepages=com, replace = with dot.

(Links can't be added)
Reply:For letter and number recognition, buy the magnetic ones and let your daughter copy your set, kinda like a matching game. Then let her write the letters or numbers on paper. As she progresses, she can "teach" you by asking you to spell simple words like "dog" or "cat". Those magnets are great. You can cut out pictures of animals and objects to put on the fridge as magnets and use the letters to spell out the the names of the animals and objects.
Reply:for my kids, i would spell their name out in dots and have them "connect the dots"... this was good practice for them. I also did this with other letters and numbers... seemed to work!
Reply:we use cereal if they mess up they can always redo it and if they get it right the let them glue it on a piece of paper then go to writing it with a crayon on the bottom of it

The only other way I know is the same but with an umlaut above the 'o'.

I need the correct name/spelling for a red sauce that is served with a Breaded N.Y. Strip Steak Sicilian style

It starts with a M (something like Moigeo - consists of tomatoes, garlic and basil and/or parsley maybe lemon juice) it's not a pasta sauce called Marinara. I'm looking for the recipe.

I need the correct name/spelling for a red sauce that is served with a Breaded N.Y. Strip Steak Sicilian style
I think you meam Marengo Sauce, which is usually used with chicken or veal.

Veal Marengo

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Cooking time: 1 hour and 20 minutes

Serves 6

Ingredients

4-5 teaspoons olive oil

1戮 lb Veal Stew cut into 1陆 inch cubes

to taste: salt and pepper

1 medium onion, cut into 8 wedges

1 can (14 陆 oz) whole peeled tomatoes

戮 cup dry white wine

as needed: water

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed

2 cups button or large mushrooms quartered

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon cornstarch

chopped parsley

Directions

Heat 3-4 teaspoon of the oil in Dutch oven or large heavy saucepan over medium heat. Brown Veal for stew ( 陆 at a time) on all sides.

Remove from pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper and reserve.

Cook onion in remaining oil over medium heat until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes; remove from pan and reserve.

Return Veal to pan.

Add tomatoes with liquid (breaking up tomatoes with spoon), wine, and enough water (about 戮 cup) to cover ingredients.

Stir in garlic, thyme, and pepper.

Cover and simmer 45 minutes.

Add mushrooms, lemon juice and reserved onions.

Continue cooking 25 minutes or until Veal and vegetables are tender.

Dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon of cold water.

Stir into Veal.

Bring to a boil; cook and stir until sauce is thickened and clear.

Garnish with chopped parsley.

Breaded N.Y. Strip Steak Sicilian style is usually made like this and is much faster, easier and more flexible:

New York Strip steak

Progresso bread crumbs

2 Eggs mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Sliced Mushrooms %26amp; Green Peppers

Marinara sauce

Get steaks to accommodate number of persons. Dip steaks whole into egg batter. Dip steaks into bread crumbs (Progresso). Put them on a cookie sheet and bake in oven on 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until desired doneness. Add mushrooms and peppers about 5 minutes before pulling out of the oven. Put the marinara sauce over the top and bake until done.

Scillian Steaks

Ingredients:

2 to 3 lg. round steaks, cut 1/4-inch thick

1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

5 to 6 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese

5 to 6 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

1 md. onion, chopped fine, and sauteed until translucent

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp. minced garlic

5 to 6 tbsp. olive oil

1 recipe Salsa Pomodora Siciliano

Directions:

Have the butcher slice the round steak very thin, about 锟?inch thick. When home, lay the steak on waxed paper and pound thinner, being careful not to break the steak and allow holes to form. Once pounded, set aside.

In a bowl combine the seasoned breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, sauteed onion and salt and pepper. Mix well. Spread the mixture in a thin layer over the surface of each pounded round steak.

Roll each steak up, jelly roll fashion, beginning at the narrowest end. Once rolled, secure with kitchen twine or toothpicks. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and brown the round steak rolls on all sides. Do not over cook. Brown lightly and quickly.

Place the browned rolls in the tomato sauce that is simmering, and finish cooking the sauce and braciola together, about 1-2 hours. To serve, remove the roll from the sauce, and slice into 1-inch wide slices. Serve as a side with the pasta and other meats cooked in the sauce.

Comments from djplam :

I can remember braciola being in the sauce (gravy as we called it), each and every Sunday. Sometimes the braciola was made with pig skin . . . oh so tender and sweet and so full of cholesterol . . . can hardly find it anymore. The meat, cooked in the sauce for a couple of hours comes out butter soft and tender and so full of flavor it is almost obscene.

What is the deal with parents naming their children wierd names or spelling a simple name wierd?

I read that there are now kids named Harry Potter, Gandolf, Adidas, and Reebok. . . Oh and Apple.

I'm sorry but that's not being unique or individualistic, it's a permanent punishment for your kids!

Why?

What is the deal with parents naming their children wierd names or spelling a simple name wierd?
Well the most common names are so boring, it is no wonder that parents are naming their kids those kind of names. Besides, the kids can always change their name when their older, that is if they want to change it. The weird name could ultimately shift their personality.
Reply:It's their opinion. If they want to name their child "Apple" let them. But anyway it is kind of strange. But I guess if you really like Reebok shoes, why not name your child after them? Myabe they had a trama of a bad name themself as a child, so now they are punishing their kid with the most horrible name imaginable. Or... maybe they were just craving apples?

ehh who knows anymore?
Reply:These are the same people who ate paint chips as children. Idiots.
Reply:well, im probably going to be one of the wierd ones. we are going ot name our daughter Katherine Flower. there is a reason for it though. Katherine is a family name from my family. Flower was chosen by my husband. you see, he is korean. and we really liked the name margaret. but we were afraid people would call her maggie. well in korean, maggie means catfish. and DEFINATELY we didnt want that. Flower was chosen, because, well.. when i told him i was pregnant, he bought me a convertable vw beetle thats mello yellow. the cars nick name is daisy. since we were dating, he has always brought me flowers. just because, no specific reason. i have a dog named lily. who i love very much. (im one of those dog people, yes) we thought alot about other names... and none seem to be right. So, one night when we were out for dinner, he told me how much he loved me, and that he finally came to a decision about what he thought we should name our daughter. He said Flower. one, because for the rest of my life, i would always have a flower from him. Two, because in almost every language, Flower means flower. or some variation. and Three, because he wanted our daughter to be a beautiful as her mother, who he thinks is as beautful as a flower. (corny i know, but thought it was sweet.) Besides, if in the future she decides that Flower is too hippy, or weird, we think Katherine is a good strong feminine name that would be great. she can decide on her own what she wants to be called. We of course, will always refer to her as our Flower.
Reply:I know what you mean. My sister in law spelled her daughters name in a stupid way. Can't tell you cause if it's seen she'll wig. But now she bchs that nobody spells it right. Well dah! If you would have spelled it right to begin with you wouldn't have to spend the rest of your life correcting the world and crabbing about it like we are the stupid ones and you are the only one sane. I can't stand it. She makes major family wars out of it. It's not our fault she's a ditz. If my mom ever did that to me I would have come up with some off the wall name to call her instead of mom. Trust me. I'm mad enough that my grandson was named after his father, and grandfather and great grandfather. Hell. I gave him a nic name and it stuck. Too bad for all of them. Imagine calling the name and 4 different people say what? Forget that. People need to wise up. They make a game of everything anymore. It's sickening.
Reply:They just want 2 be Different that's all it might be weird 2 Us but not 2 Them so why Judge them it won't change the situation with their children's names. My Niece's name is Bambi Lee %26amp; yes she was Teased as a child but she loves her name
Reply:Maybe because they are cruel, or maybe they think they are doing their children a favor. By giving the kids odd names, they stick in the minds of the people they meet, and maybe they mum or dad (named... Mary and John, perhaps?) had the opposite happen to them, and want to try and change things for their offspring.
Reply:They are trying to be unique but taking it too far. I'd hate it if I had a weird name. I wouldnt do that to my kids. They would be tormented for life!
Reply:well it's up to the kid weather or not they live up to their name.
Reply:These are parents who worry more about being hip then giving their children a decent name.
Reply:I think a lot of those parents pick the weird names to get extra attention for their kids. Its pretty pathetic, makes you wonder how many kids will be changing their names when the turn 18.
Reply:theyre fanatics of the books or movies, extremely fanatic.....same as a kid naming his/her dog after an anime character haha
Reply:I think a lot of parents don't look into the future when naming their kids. A kid named Harry Potter is "cute" when the kid is under the age of 12. But what about when he grows up and is applying for a job? The name on his resume is going to be HARRY POTTER. An employer is going to look at that and either laugh or think its a joke.

Parents need to grow up, stop looking at Hollywood for these "ideas" and realize that a name means a lot in today's society. People make judgements on people based on names. Someone named Hennessey isn't going to be taken as seriously as someone named Sarah or even something unique like MacKenzie. Hennessey is the name of a drink, not a kid people!
Reply:their child their choice
Reply:Because parents think if they name their kids after famous people they will turn out to be like them.
Reply:Well, a name isn't technically permanent, but I get your drift. It is pathetic that some people have so little common sense that they would do that because they think it's cute. How cute will it be when little Apple is applying for a job, but stripper seems a more likely position for such a name? How awesome will Kal-el sound when he's working as a journalist?
Reply:I personnaly like the old fashion names but people these days want to be very dif. I agree it is punishment.
Reply:I think it's terrible as well, a classmate's sister named her daughter Hennessy!

I don't think that certain parents realize that these names are actually stupid rather than unique. I have had to enter names into a computer and I could always tell a person's age range by their name. The younger people always have the names like Diamond and Sapphire. I think there was even a Princess!
Reply:It is very stupid, parents seem to believe it is their choice however it is something a child will "live" with!
Reply:They are on an ego trip or they don't care how much trouble the child will have with a weird name.
Reply:I am an older adult. My parents gave me a name that I never heard another named that until I went overseas. My family has been here since the 1600s so it wasn't something they they brought from the old country. I have had to spell the darn thing a million times. It is misprounced more than not. I turn around and look if I even think someone might be trying to call me. Any nick name dirived from it sounds cutsie ie cece. I spend time explaining where my name came from. I have also worked with small children and have seen some names that parents should be charged with child abuse. King, Queen, Princess, Sir, and other names that are spelled so wrong that one can only assume that the parent never attended school. Parents need to think that this is the name that the child will go out into the world with. One they will be know as in the business community. I would have trouble taking someone named Pinkie seriously. At least I can say my name is spelled correctly and is common in a country even if it is not my country. My parents could tell my sibilings who they were named after. They were all named after some family member but mine was never explained. As a small child it is hard to understand why I wasn't. There have been interesting theories though. Just as it is difficult to say what a cute baby when the little thing is not especially cute it is hard to come up with a suitable response when someone tells you their childs name and it is just plain foolish.
Reply:i dont really know!

But my name is ...Jociane.. and i hate my name! Happens dat i live in iowa, but im originally from Brazil.

Now here in the states ppl cant get my name rite..

from time 2 time folks call me ''... jocane...

So i changed to ..josey.. cause i already do hate my given name... now ''folks spellin wrong on my credit cards'' and callin cocaine is now joke i coud take any longer... hahaha

peace

''Josey

;-D
Reply:parents are influenced by Hollywood
Reply:Parents think it is cute, but the kids have to live their whole life with it or have it legally changed.

It can create embarrassment and confusion in schools too.

Of course, we can not all be named John Smith or Jane Doe either!
Reply:They just want to stand out. Instead of naming their son Michael or Jacob, they will name their kid Pilot Inspektor. They find it funny, or cute or whatever...but they don't think what it will do to the kid when he/she is 20 years old or even a teenager. And these names are cute when they are little..but when they are 30-50....not so much.

And they think if they take a "normal" name..i'll use my own name as an example...Jamie....and they want to make it "unique" they'll spell it Jaimye...or something like that. They'll make it look like no way like it should be said.
Reply:Gosh ... could you imagine screaming gandolf get your butt back here now you would die on the spot .... I called my daughter aimee and it is so frustrating as everyone spells her name wrong i can see where you are coming from i am just so glad i had the common sense to not be sooo unique with her name .. feel sorry for the kid named harry potter
Reply:Jason Lee named his son "Pilot Inspektor". Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter "Apple Blythe Alison Martin". Penn Jilette named his children "Zolten Penn Jillette" and "Moxie Crimefighter Jilette".

It's an odd mentality that some people get, where they believe they're doing the child "a favor" by giving them some name that will make them "unique and exotic". What does "unique and exotic" equate to with other children? Someone to beat up and make fun of.

It really has nothing to do with the kid. It has to do with the parents trying to label their children in such a way that it makes the parent appear "unique and exotic", when it really just makes them look dumb and cruel.

Parents need to stop looking at their kids as "fashion accessories".
Reply:Maybe people do not want to name their kids: John %26amp; Jane

Too plain
Reply:When you find out please tell me.

I feel the same way you do.

Put the shoe on the other foot and think ..What if it was your name?

I have been hearing names like Gustaf, Dax, Lonan and worse.
Reply:I have no idea. I named my daughter Danielle, classic and sweet. She doesn't have to have a crazy name to be unique, she has a normal name and has an absolutely magnetic personality! I think some people just want to make their kids stand out or something, I think that should be left up to the kids' personalities! I chose a family name and I think that makes it even more special and will give her a sense of belonging and family history for the rest of her life! :) but that's just me I guess; to each their own!
Reply:Personally, I think naming your kid John or Sarah is punishment. How plain!

I have a very unusual name, and I have to correct people all the time, but the compliments I get when people DO hear my name are quite nice.

Now, some names (like Reebok) are silly, but I don't know that it's really permanent punishment. Some people may think, "Wow, your parents were screwed up, but that's kinda cool. Maybe Reebok will give you money!" (I don't know. I'm reaching.)

I knew a girl named Leaf, and her sister's name was Meadow. We always thought it was weird, but the older we got, the more I liked it. It really described her personality.

All of that said . . . you should listen to Lewis Black's rant about people naming their kids screwed up things. :)

What is the correct name and spelling of a antibiotic that sound a lot like Robitussin?

I had a injection of this stuff and damn near died, now I need the name and correct spelling in order to add it to my allergy list.

What is the correct name and spelling of a antibiotic that sound a lot like Robitussin?
Robicillin...a form of penicillin.

In theory, if you are allergic to Robicillin, you should also be allergic to other forms of Penicillin. Penicillin is made from a mold, and many persons are allergic to molds.

If you don't react to other forms of Penicillin, perhaps it wasn't the Robicillin that you were reacting to. In any case, a dose of benydrill should alleviate any discomfort from any future shots of the meds.
Reply:Yes, never take that whatever was given to you again in your entire life. And also avoid that general class of medications. Call the hospital that gave it to you, they will know. Make sure to ask the name of the drug and the class of antibiotics it belongs to and cross-reacts with, both. Report Abuse

What is the name and spelling of a small maracca?

I think it's a marakeet- is this right? Is this the correct spelling?

Thank you doesn't seem to bring up any hits on the internet.

What is the name and spelling of a small maracca?
You may be thinking of Maracito, it is the trade name of a small maraca for children.

What spelling name do you prefer for this baby?

Please tell me what you prefer. If you had to choose from:

Shaeli

Shalie

They are anograms of Sheila.

Any other ideas for a similar name. Someone mentioned Shaelyn was beautiful last, it is not an anagram but is this good?...Shae-lyn?

What spelling name do you prefer for this baby?
I don't agree with made up names for kids. In school teachers mispronounce the names and this embarasses the kid. What is wrong with the name Sheila? It is a fine Irish name. The names you suggest have no meaning and are wierd.

The name Sheila means heaven and is a dirivitive of Celia. (which is a nice name also).
Reply:What ever name you chose, just think about when the child is in school. If its a really odd name they will constantly be correcting teachers and fellow class mates on how to spell and pronounce it. I named my oldest daughter Arien, pronounced like Erin, and she has spent the last 28 years correcting people about it. Most times now she just lets them go and doesnt bother to correct them, but for a young child, their identity is important to them so make it simple.

Reply:i really like the name Shalie(:

its gorgeous. the spelling is great %26amp; its

over all a very powerful %26amp; beautiful name.

i also like Shaelyn. but i think i still like Shalie more.
Reply:I really like Shalie..I'm not a huge fan of Shae-lyn though.

Shalie is a lot easier to spell than Shaeli (I know it's the same letters) but people will mess the name up a lot less if you spell it how it sounds.
Reply:i think Shaelyn should do the trick!!! the name sounds beautiful and very feminine and also it has a rare spelling to it which adds to it's weight!!!
Reply:Hmmm, how about Shayla? Shaena? Shalane? They sound kind of different, but different is unique!

Hope I helped!
