I am planning on naming my daughter unique. All negative comments keep to your self.
What is a unique way of spelling the name Unique?
As it is. Sorry but I am concerned that your daughter might get teased with this name. What about Monique?Everyone has a right to choose their own names for their children.

Reply:i love the name unique it implies it's self my sons name is Righteous so i wont dare say n e thing negative about that name i think u should spell it Ukneeqic or Uneqkic

Reply:I've seen it spelled as younique before.
Reply:I like the way it is spelled normally, when you start changing it and switching out letters then it gets real ghetto, leaving it keeps it very pretty and obvious what her name is.
Reply:I am sorry but naming your child Unique is ghetto and will do the child no favours in the future. you clearly have access to the Internet I suggest you look up the stats regarding the name Unique before you condemn your child to that name especially with the ridiculous spellings suggested above...
Reply:Uneek,,,Uneke, Youneek,hummmm????
Reply:eunique. its more feminine
also there are strict guidelines on punctuation and spellings of baby names.
Reply:I actually have a friend that has that name and she spells hers like this: Eunique. I think it is a very pretty name.
Reply:How about ....
Ewenyke
or
Ewenyk
or
Yunyke
or
Unyque
or
Eunyque
Reply:I'm personally not fond of naming children extremely unusual names, but if you are going to use the name Unique, at least spell it correctly. It will cause your child less headaches in life and teach them the importance of proper spelling.
Reply:Uneek
Uneke
Uneike
Yuneke
Reply:You say you don't want negative feedback, but what do you expect when you want to name a kid Unique? You and the person who named their son Righteous ought to be strung up by your toenails. How awful for those kids. But I guess as long as YOU are happy, what else matters, right??
Reply:I actually love that name, I like it spelled as it is though. Cute name!!
Reply:I like the name "Monique", it always reminded me of "unique"
Reply:How about Youneek!! LOL I just kinda made that up...or
Uneeque
Yooneek
Uneek
Ounique...I think you'd probably pronounce that ooneek though LOL sorry
But I like it left the same too!! That's a very interesting name! Very different!! I never would have thought of it! I like it!!
Reply:Eunique, that's how someone I know spells it.
Reply:If you insist on going with such a ghetto name (I hate to use that term, but seriously, it is!) then at least keep the spelling normal. Going away from that is just nutty and will automatically type-cast her into certain roles (sorry, if I see the name "Youneek" or "U'neaque" or "Yun'iq" on a piece of paper, I automatically assume certain things... one of which is that she is probably a stripper). I implore you to stick with "Unique" if you must go with this name!
