Aryanna or Arianna?
Which girl name spelling is better?
Arianna seems better. They are close but do not sound the same.
Reply:Since its for a mer-goddess then Aryanna is best. It's an unusual spelling, much cooler for a fantasy story. And Adrian is not too similar. If you wanted similar then that would be Adriana or Adrienne.

Reply:Arianna
i rather ariana i think it looks cute.
If i didnt know any better, i would think that you chose your daughter's name to be similar to the father.
Reply:Arianna, absolutely.
All you'd accomplish by changing the i to y is to have people constantly misspell it. Don't ruin a pretty name.
Reply:Arianna is much better. Aryanna makes me think of the Aryan race and the Nazis and skinheads. What a difference a letter makes.
Reply:Arianna. A million times over.
Adding extra ys to a traditional name isn't unique, it's really really trendy and conformist and silly.
Reply:Aryanna
Reply:Aryanna because it is different and she will be unique from everyone else
Reply:Arianna, but if you're going for a goddess, I think Aryanna gives a more mystical feel to it.
Reply:Arianna/Ariana - Ari for short. I don't think that the fathers name is too similar either. Congrat's!!
Reply:Arianna.
Reply:Arianna not her father aint to similar
