Received a Cheque with a spelling mistake in my name. Still cashable?

Theres an extra D. would it be a biggie?

So John Cruz is my name. and its written as John D'Cruz.

and then the person got lazy on the next cheque and just put J. D'Cruz. Think that would be a problem? They're personal cheques.

Yes people spell my name wrong all the time. However, I think when youg o into cash it just ask them how you should sign it. I think you have to sign it with the D'Cruz but maybe not just ask it won't matter. :)
Reply:not likely, why can you contact the person to re-issue you those checks and make sure he got it right next time.
Reply:Should be fine. When my cousin got her first check book, they spelled her last name wrong. When they do that, you have to get new ones. If somebody wrote you the check, then it should be fine. They might ask for some ID though when cashing it.
Reply:it should be fine.
