Reply:I know only one girl named that, and she spelled it, "Madisyn".....I know a boy with the name, and he spells it, "Madison." So, I envision the version with the "i" being for boys, and the version with the "y" being for girls, just because what I was exposed to, but I don't know. I actually like it with the "y." It's more unique and doesn't remind me of Madison Square Gardens or Adam Sandler's movie, "Billy Madison," or anything else with the name Madison for that matter....it's usually always spelled, "Madison." So, to conclude, I think spelling it with a "y," "Madisyn" would be unique and more feminine at the same time. :)








Oh, and for nicknames, the girl I knew with the name Madisyn was always called "Maddie" for short. Also, you could call her "Synda" or "Syndy" or "Syndie", spawning from the "...syn" at the end of the name if you choose to spell it with a "syn."

Reply:Madison. Although Madisyn is unique, it would probably be annoying to have to explain to people how to spell it all the time. A good nickname would be Maddy. I think Maddy is a really cute name =)

Addison is a cool name, as aswell as being a nickname.
