What is the worst spelling of a name you have ever seen?

Please say how it is pronounced aswell

What is the worst spelling of a name you have ever seen?
when i went to register the birth of one of my daughters the registrar was telling me of one mother who wanted to call her daughter (and this is how the mother pronounced the name, wiv-o-nee), the registrar asked her how she spelled it, so the mother spelled out yvonne. actually pronounced ee-von. the mother had seen the name in a book and thought her pronunciation was right.
Reply:I know a girl who named her daughter Summah (pronounced Summer), which isn't such a bad spelling, but still, she's spelling it out for people because everything that it's spelt Summer.

One of my friend's is named Stacee - she's constantly having it spelt Stacie and Stacey.

I've also seen Chloe spelt Klowe which makes me cringe terribly, although I won't deny it does make some sense given how you actually pronounce the name. Lauren spelt Loren makes me cringe. I've also seen Melanie spelt Mel-lanie (no jokes) and Imogen spelt Imojen, which I guess could partly be put down to pronouncation. and Danielle spelt Dani-Elle seems a little silly to me too, although at least it's logical.

banana, it's actually pronounced as it is spelt, so technically, it does not mean Ebony - it's Epponnee.
Reply:Maddysyn = Madison.

Mukkenzy = Mackenzie.

My'Kaylah = Michaela

Mykel = Michael

Trentyn = Trenton. I know a little boy with this name. the y makes it look girly.

Asholee (the o is silent)= Ashley. Poor kid! With that spelling it looks like the parents were trying to make it look like the swear word. Evil!

Kheli = Kelly

Allyzabyth = Elizabeth

Alyvia = Olivia. I saw it at work. One of the little girls has this name.

Zooey = Zoe

Emmyleigh = Emily

Krystyphyr = Christopher

Paaytan = Payton/Peyton

Alyissiah = Alicia

Tahyllyr = Taylor

Tahreesah = Teresa/Theresa

Vyktor / Vyktorya = Victor / Victoria
Reply:jacklyn - jacqueline. just plain ugly.

melloney - melanie (not too offensive but the poor girl always gets called mellon or mellons instead, and its not like she has huge atributes to merit such a nick name either.)

i dont mind names that have been adapted into another language having spelling discrepancies but i really hate it when people deliberately miss-spell a name just to be different, it just looks retarded.

the other is my own surname which is constantly miss-spelled, it begins with a th which often gets replaced by a ph or an f, there is nothing wrong with my speech or accent so where they get that from is beyond me, it drives me nuts, and the rest of my family too, we all get the same problems.
Reply:Pronounciation - Siobhan (normally pronounced She-von, the mother had been pronouncing it Sigh-oh-ban as she'd never heard it pronounced)

Spellings - misspell (correct, or a correct speeling if several acceptable spellings)

Reply:My surname is Pickford and I entered a fancy dress competition 2 years in a row in my cousins local town, and each year they got my surname wrong in the local paper.

One year I was Pickles, the next year I was Pitchfork. How terrible is that! Pitchfork isn't even close!
Reply:Don't even get me started. Most of the "original" names that people come up with today are absolutely atrocious. I just want to take these people's babies and apologize to them in advance for the crap they're going to deal with due to their horrible names.

Reply:I don't like it when Irish names are anglicised, e.g Shaun and Shawn instead of Seán. I don't like people spelling Katelyn as Caitlin and saying it's an Irish name.

I know there's worse out there though
Reply:I was at school with a girl called Lisa - except that her mother, for some peculiar reason, had decided to spell it 'Leezer'. She had an older sister called Hayley - though spelt 'Hailee' (I think).
