Does anyone have a different spelling for the name Hunter?

Me and my husband are starting a family. We like the name Hunter, but I'm looking for a unique spelling for it.

Cacciatore. Like Chicken Cacciatore. Translated it means hunter chicken.

I wanted either dawson or dustin' hunter was mentioned but I settled for Damon.. i wanted to change the spelling to Daimon but my hubby wouldnt have it he said it looks like diamond?? dont ask me how but yeh... maybe pick a middle name you can play with kk good luck
Reply:I really like Hunter too, so why not just leave it how it is? I cant even think of any other spellings that would look okay. It is such a nice name, I would just leave it spelled the "normal "way.

If you spell it differently, be prepared for him to deal with that his entire life.
Reply:"Unique" = weird. Let your child be unique and don't make him spend his life spelling out his mom's "unique" spelling for everyone.

Personally I like Hunter better than all of them but I also don't mind the spelling of Huntah.

Reply:Why make it hard for everyone to spell? It's such a great name just like it is! Besides,there's no other way to spell it where it still sounds like Hunter.
Reply:Oh, goody. Is this the part where we get to add a "Y" to an already uber-trendy name? How about Hyunter, Huynter, or Huntyer?





Or, if you like Spanish flavor you could try Junter!

Reply:There isn't any! There is no unique spelling. You just make it look weird and lame and it wouldn't sounds like Hunter if you try to spell it different. Stick it with the original OK!

Reply:Hi, A good alternative for you is Hunner. It is spelled like you pronounce it. Or if you want Huner, but i like it with 2 n's. I am a huge believer in spelling names the way they sound!!!!
