What about clarabelle? To old out of date? What about for a middle name?

Gabrielle. I don't like the two b's, and I don't like Gabrialyn very much. It could grow on me, I dunno. I really like Clarabelle. It is very old fashioned but I'm a fan of the older names.

Reply:Gabrielle is pretty and feminine. The two b's make it look more masculine and blocky... i dont really know how to explina how it makes a name look blocky... but it just doesnt look like t flows as well.





Gabrialyn I am reading as Gab ree allen. Allen like a guys name. I can see a child named that getting teased and being called allen.





Clarabelle is a straight up cow's name. I'm sorry, but I lived in farm country, my friend had a cow named that, there's even a Christmas special where I think the cow who wants to be a reindeer is named clarabelle. It's a pretty name... just reminds me of cows.
Reply:Please don't give your baby a name that they will FOREVER have to spell out, or even worse have to correct.





My nephew has to spell his name for everyone because his mother thought it would be "different" and "cute" to have his name spelled a little different.





He hates being different, and he hates to have to spell his name to every teacher he meets. Not to mention the kids tease him because of his name.

Clarabelle is old but not in a charming way for me. As a few others mentioned, it's a famous cow name. What about Claire Isabelle?

um well i had a roomate named jerilyn- loved that name


or you could go with claralynn or carolyn if you like that better

Reply:mmm... i don't like how "Gabri...." sounds in the first place BUT that's just me. I like just Clara or the whole name could be Clara Belle but not together :D do u know how hard it is to write your name on every piece of homework.. especially if it's long as a sentence, yah know?

gabrialyn sound very weird to me and i would never name my kid that

although it makes me think of the middle ages

Gabrialyn is confusing when you look at it. Imagine being 4 and spelling that.





Clarabelle is a farm name. Though Gabrielle Claire or Gabrielle Clara could be cute.
