Does anyone know a female spelling version of the name James?

I am going to be having a baby girl any day now. I am in love with the name Olivia. I originally was going to name her Olivia Marie, but then my mom came up with Olivia James. I like it because it is more unique than Marie. I just dont know a female version way of spelling it, and am wondering if there is one. Also, what do you guys think of Olivia James, even though it is a boys name?

Does anyone know a female spelling version of the name James?
Jamesina.
Reply:Olivia Jaime (prenounced with a soft J-french for "i like")

Olivia Jamie (I know several girls with the name Jamie)

Olivia Jayme

Olivia Jaymaya (made this one up)

or you could have Olivia Jayne which is more feminine. My history teacher was reading our middle names out in class today and one girls is Lyle and one Lennox and they got laughed at so I'd stear clear of James...

If only kids weren't so cruel no one would worry about it!
Reply:Good choice on Olivia ;)

My son is named James - it's my favorite boy name. I do know a woman called James though. Possibly Olivia Jamie?

Reply:i think its nice and i don't know if theres a female way of spelling it, i reckon you should come up with your own way of spelling it because that would be even special because know one else would have it.
Reply:Olivia James is adorable and I don't think you should change the spelling, but if you really want to I'd say Jaimes because it looks like Jamie because of how it's spelled.

  1. Why not just use james the female version is pretty. Im a female and my 2nd first name is james but its pronounced jsha-meez or sha-mee if u make the s silent. I always go with the first one though
