If I want to change to spelling of my name, is it the same as changing my name all together?

Changing one's name is extremely expensive, I don't want to change my name but I would like to change the spelling to make it easier for people to pronounce, I hate correcting people about that and since I'm traveling quite a lot and plan on living in several different countries over the years, this could help me!

I did that when I was in business. I shortened the spelling, but not permanently

You can register an Alias at the Courthouse.

Not much.

You can use it legally, even on checks. The alias needs to be renewed every few years. Don't remember.
Reply:Changing names can become expensive in the thousands.
