I need help with a name spelling ?

I have fallen in love with the name Marilyn it is going to be my new baby's name but I really want to spell it different just because I am one of those people.

I need help with a name spelling ?
Marilynn and I understand why you want to change the spelling it is so you can make it your own in some way.
Reply:That's a really beautiful name.

I wouldn't go much different than like Marilynn, though, because once you really start to mess with the spelling then people start pronouncing it incorrectly.

Also, my best friend's name is Marisa, not Marissa. People have spelled it incorrectly her entire life, and as a kid she always hated not being able to buy anything with her name on it. You know, pencils, keychains, stuff like that with your name on it. You can't find your name if your name is spelled oddly!

Like another commenter said, think of the kid. :)
Reply:I agree with Ella's Mommy. Think about your daughter this isn't about you it's about her. Mareilyn is the only thing I can come up with but Marilyn it classic and beautiful and I love the way it is spelled. Also it's not very come right now so there shouldn't be a problem with her having 3 other friends name Marilyn when she grows up.
Reply:Don't change the spelling or she will go through her whole life having to spell her name to everyone she ever meets, and the stranger the spelling the higher the chance that it will be mispronounced.

Reply:How about Mary Lynne, two names? Just try to keep it easy, so your daughter doesn't have to go through life explaining her name.
Reply:Don't be a jackass and change the spelling. Spell it the way it's suppose to be!!!
