Reply:JAMIE, my best friend's name since the early 1970's.





We'd meet each other half way so we weren't walking alone to play with each other; we'd eventually fight, walk each other half way home so we weren't walking alone, and by the time we'd get back home, one of us was calling the other to play again; so we'd meet half way to be safe and make sure we weren't walking alone. We lived on opposite sides of the street on opposite ends of the block; we could watch each other as we walked, and when we were splitting up we each walked backwards or sideways so we could watch out for each other. We did this until we were teenagers even; it started about age 4 or 5. We lived in a small town, which used to be safe then.
Reply:I like the way you have it spelled. Mainly you don't want to make it harder on the child. Like when they have to learn to write it and when people read it you don't want the child to be always having there name screwed up. My daughter always has her name screwed up so I would go with a more common spelling then making it more complicated than it has to be.

I think it should be a nickname for a longer name, though. As you said, it's 'sweet and cute', but that's all it is. It doesn't suit an adult very well.
